The centrifugal chiller is cooled by the Freon refrigerant evaporating and absorbing the heat of the refrigerant carrying water in the evaporator. The Freon wet steam after evaporating and absorbing the heat is compressed into high-temperature and high-pressure gas by the compressor, condensed into liquid by the water-cooled condenser, and then enters the evaporator for recycling after throttling by the expansion valve. Thus, 7~12 ℃ cold water is prepared for air conditioning at the air conditioning terminal.
advantage:
1. The impeller speed is high, the gas transmission capacity is large, and the unit capacity is large.
2. Less vulnerable parts, reliable operation, compact structure, stable operation, small vibration and low noise.
3. The quality index of unit refrigerating capacity is small.
4. The refrigerant is not mixed with lubricating oil, and the heat transfer performance of evaporator and condenser is good.
5. EER value is high and can be adjusted steplessly within 10%~100%.
Disadvantages:
1. The single-stage compressor will appear "surge" phenomenon at low load and run stably at full load.
2. The requirements for material strength, machining accuracy and manufacturing quality are strict.
3. When the operating condition deviates from the design condition, the efficiency decreases rapidly, and the cooling capacity decreases faster with the decrease of evaporation temperature than that of piston type.
4. The centrifugal negative pressure system is easy to be invaded by external gas, which may cause chemical changes and corrosion of the pipeline.
